At the heart of this upgrade is Tier One's CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum channel plate. Nearly three times thicker than the factory casting and machined to an ultra-flat .0003-inch tolerance, the billet plate virtually eliminates channel plate flex that causes gasket failures, internal cross-leaks, and hydraulic pressure loss. The result is improved clutch apply pressure, more consistent shifting, and exceptional durability under demanding conditions.

This valve body also addresses every major weak point in the factory hydraulic system. Billet three-ring accumulator pistons replace the failure-prone factory plastic pistons, while an upgraded steel solenoid switch valve helps eliminate bore wear that commonly triggers P0871 diagnostic codes and Overdrive clutch failure. A bonded separator plate further improves hydraulic sealing and fluid control for maximum transmission reliability.

Every valve body is assembled using new critical components and tested on Tier One's in-house valve body dyno to verify proper operation before shipment.
