BorgWarner D clutches and performance GPZ frictions provide additional holding capacity, while increased clutch counts in the E and F drums improve friction surface area compared to the factory configuration.

Additional upgrades include an updated OEM CDF clutch hub designed to address bushing movement and lubrication concerns, a new OEM P4 gear hub, and a cast aluminum transmission pan. Each transmission is completely disassembled, cleaned, inspected, rebuilt with new sealing components, and tested before shipping.

The Tier One Stage 2 10R140 is supplied as a complete replacement assembly designed to install in place of the factory transmission without permanent vehicle modifications. A transmission adaptive relearn procedure is required following installation.
