Unlike conventional polyurethane bushings, PPE's silicone bushings are engineered to better resist the extreme temperatures found in the engine bay while effectively isolating unwanted engine vibration. Rated at 60A on the Durometer scale, these bushings are firmer than the factory mounts, providing increased engine stability for towing, performance, and high-horsepower applications while still helping reduce noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH).
