Improve differential cooling, fluid capacity, and durability on your 2020–2026 GM 2500HD or 3500HD with the PPE Heavy-Duty Cast Aluminum Rear Differential Cover. Constructed from heat-treated A356.0-T6 cast aluminum, this upgraded cover provides additional strength while efficiently transferring heat away from the differential fluid.

Internal ribs are engineered to promote proper lubrication while minimizing unnecessary fluid friction, while external cooling fins increase surface area to help dissipate heat. An additional 1.43 quarts of fluid capacity provides greater thermal capacity, helping the differential oil maintain its viscosity during demanding towing, hauling, and performance applications.

A billet 304 stainless steel fill plug incorporates a powerful Neodymium magnet to capture ferrous metal particles circulating in the differential oil. The cover also includes a 1/8-inch NPT stainless steel port for the installation of an optional differential temperature probe.
