The PPE 225065000 transmission fluid thermal bypass valve is an upgraded replacement for 2013–2018 Ram 2500/3500 trucks equipped with the 6.7L diesel or 6.4L V8 gas engine. The factory bypass valve can fail and restrict fluid from reaching the transmission cooler, while its narrow passageways limit flow. PPE’s design eliminates these drawbacks by increasing fluid flow to the cooler, helping to protect the transmission from overheating.

This bypass valve also includes a service plug equipped with a Neodymium magnet to capture ferrous material from the fluid. The plug can be removed to clean out debris, ensuring cleaner fluid and longer transmission life.
