Upgrade the steering strength and durability of your 2011–2026 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD with Kryptonite Heavy-Duty Tie Rods. Engineered for the increased loads placed on modern HD truck steering systems, these tie rods provide a substantial increase in strength over factory-style components while maintaining bolt-on compatibility with the OEM center link.

Each tie rod features a solid 1-1/4-inch hexagonal steel body designed to resist bending and flexing under demanding conditions. Heat-treated chromoly nickel outer studs and all-steel inner ball sockets provide additional strength and durability for trucks used for towing, hauling, off-road driving, or other heavy-duty applications. In laboratory testing, Kryptonite reports these tie rods withstood 21,000 lbs. of pull force, more than twice the OEM specification.

The tie rods arrive pre-greased with Chevron Ultra EP2 grease and ready for installation. They are designed for trucks retaining the factory-style center link and can later be upgraded for use with Kryptonite's SS Series Centerlink Package without replacing the tie rods.

Important Fitment Note:

Designed for trucks equipped with an OEM-style center link. These tie rods will not work with aftermarket center links unless used with the appropriate Kryptonite SS Series Centerlink upgrade components. The tie rods can be upgraded for SS Series Centerlink compatibility later without replacing the tie rods.
