Dosage & Application Instructions

For Frozen Fuel Filters

If the diesel fuel remains liquid in the tank but the engine will not start due to frozen fuel filters:

1. Remove the affected fuel filters according to the vehicle manufacturer's service procedures.
2. Where the filter design permits pre-filling, use a mixture of 50% Diesel Winter Rescue and 50% diesel fuel, following the additive and vehicle manufacturer's instructions.
3. Reinstall the fuel filters and properly prime the fuel system as required.
4. Start the engine and verify normal fuel system operation.

For Gelled Diesel Fuel

1. Add one entire 32 oz bottle of Diesel Winter Rescue for every 40 gallons of diesel fuel in the tank.
2. Treat the fuel filters using the manufacturer's recommended 50/50 Diesel Winter Rescue and diesel fuel mixture where compatible with the filter design.
3. Reinstall the filters and prime the fuel system as required.
