Replace the factory turbocharger on your 2004.5–2010 GM 6.6L Duramax with the Garrett 848212-5001S New Stock Replacement Turbocharger. Designed for LLY, LBZ, and LMM applications, this new Garrett variable-geometry turbocharger provides a direct-fit solution for restoring factory-style turbocharger operation and performance.
The turbocharger features a 61mm x 88mm 11-blade compressor wheel and a 73mm x 64mm 13-blade turbine wheel. Its variable-geometry design provides responsive boost throughout the engine's operating range while maintaining compatibility with the factory-style turbocharger system.
Unlike a remanufactured turbocharger, the 848212-5001S is supplied as a new replacement unit and does not require a core return or core charge. It is designed for stock-replacement applications without requiring custom tuning or extensive modifications. LLY applications require the Garrett 771864-0001 adapter for proper installation.
