Improve on-road handling and off-road suspension performance in your Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD with the FOX 2.5 Performance Series IFP HTO Shock Absorber. Designed as a bolt-on upgrade, this shock combines application-specific valving, a large 2.5-inch shock body, and position-sensitive damping technology for improved suspension control across varying driving conditions.

The 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum shock body provides increased oil capacity while efficiently dissipating heat during demanding use. A Type II clear-anodized finish provides additional protection against corrosion for long-term durability.

An Internal Floating Piston (IFP) separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen charge, helping prevent oil aeration and maintain consistent damping performance. FOX combines the IFP design with application-specific precision valving and high-flow, velocity-sensitive damping for controlled suspension response both on and off the pavement.

FOX Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology provides position-sensitive rebound control as the suspension approaches full extension. The system routes shock oil through a secondary shim stack to progressively slow shock shaft speed, helping reduce harsh top-out events and improve suspension control. HTO can be particularly beneficial on trucks equipped with heavier tires or suspension systems providing additional lift over stock.

The Performance Series shock is also fully rebuildable and re-tunable, allowing it to be serviced or adjusted as vehicle and suspension requirements change.
