Control harmful crankshaft torsional vibration in an internally balanced GM 6.6L Duramax with the Fluidampr 760131 Performance Diesel Series Damper. Designed specifically for internally balanced Duramax engines, this viscous damper provides broad-range vibration control for performance and competition engine builds.

Unlike a conventional tuned elastomer damper that is designed around a limited frequency range, Fluidampr uses viscous damping technology that automatically responds to changing torsional vibration frequencies. This allows the damper to accommodate changes in engine speed and configuration without requiring rebuilding or retuning, helping reduce stress on the crankshaft, main bearings, valvetrain, and other critical engine components.

Precision CNC-machined and computer-balanced components provide accurate operation, while engraved degree markings simplify engine setup and timing reference. The updated design also allows serpentine belt replacement without removing the damper. A durable black zinc finish provides corrosion resistance, and the damper is manufactured in the USA and built to SFI 18.1 specifications for competition use.
