Designed to address reduced coolant flow through the rear of the engine, this system helps lower rear-cylinder coolant temperatures and reduce excessive cooling-system pressure.

The rear cylinders of the 6.7L Cummins can experience higher coolant temperatures due to limited coolant flow through the back of the engine. This temperature increase can contribute to excessive pressure at the rear of the block and increase the risk of freeze plug failure.

The Fleece Coolant Bypass Kit incorporates a secondary thermostat that regulates additional coolant flow based on temperature rather than excessive cooling-system pressure. This helps maintain more consistent temperatures across all six cylinders while reducing pressure buildup at the rear of the engine.

Designed for an OEM-style fit and finish, the complete kit includes front and rear coolant bypass thermostat housings, braided black nylon coolant hose, -AN fittings, mounting hardware, and the components required to accommodate the exhaust back pressure sensor system.
