The Banks Ram-Air Transmission Pan helps extend transmission fluid life in your Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD with 6.6L Duramax (LB7/LLY/LBZ/LMM/LML/L5P). Using Banks’ Ram-Air cooling technology, this pan dissipates more heat than factory or competitor pans. Features include a break-away Ram-Air scoop, an additional 2 quarts of capacity, and Banks FlowThru Fins to help cool the fluid for longer-lasting transmission performance.
Engineered to Run Cool
The forward-facing scoop channels ambient air through external FlowThru Fins for maximum heat transfer. The pan includes 2 extra quarts of fluid capacity. The plastic scoop is designed to break away without damaging the pan, and Banks will replace it free of charge if needed. Optional Deep Pan adds ~3 quarts of fluid capacity for enhanced cooling.
Banks vs Competition
Die-cast construction ensures smooth, low-porosity surfaces for optimal fluid flow. The FlowThru Fins maximize heat rejection while internal fins absorb heat efficiently. The Ram-Air scoop further directs cold air across the die-cast fins, outperforming competitors’ designs.
