Improve airflow to your 2003–2007 Dodge Ram 5.9L Cummins with the Banks Power 42145 Ram-Air Intake System. Designed to provide the durability and reliability expected from a factory-style intake while substantially increasing airflow, the Ram-Air system flows up to 62% better than the stock intake through a combination of a large filter, high-flow outlet, and enclosed cold-air housing.
The enclosed airbox draws cooler outside air while helping isolate the filter from hot underhood air. Large side and bottom air inlets feed the oversized filter, providing increased filtration surface area and allowing longer service intervals between cleanings. The reusable, oiled cotton-gauze filter is designed to provide high-flow filtration while protecting the engine from dirt and debris.
A large flexible bellows accommodates normal engine movement, reducing stress on the intake components and connections. By supplying the turbocharger with a greater volume of cool, dense air, the Ram-Air system is designed to support improved engine performance while helping reduce exhaust gas temperatures and smoke. The system can also be paired with the optional Banks Super-Scoop for additional outside-air delivery.
