The factory intercooler system uses approximately 2.70-inch hot-side piping with restrictive crushed bends and 3.15-inch cold-side piping with plastic components. Banks replaces these restrictions with high-quality aluminized steel boost tubes featuring a constant, high-flow diameter and smooth mandrel bends. The result is a hot-side flow area up to 68% larger than stock and a cold-side flow area up to 24% larger than stock.

Heavy-duty 5-ply silicone couplers provide durable, high-temperature connections while spring-loaded constant-tension clamps maintain a secure seal under boost. A durable powder-coated finish helps protect the steel tubing against corrosion while providing a clean, finished appearance.
