Tier One's 68RFE Stage 1 Transmission is built for mild tuning, heavy towing, and aggressive on- or off-road driving. Designed to handle up to 600 horsepower from tuning, bolt-on upgrades, and mild single-turbo setups, this complete drop-in transmission fits 2019-2024 Ram 6.7L Cummins 2500 and 3500 trucks.

Build Details:

Each Stage 1 transmission begins with a thoroughly cleaned and inspected OEM 68RFE core. The included billet twin-disc torque converter provides more surface area and power-holding capability. The deep transmission pan increases fluid capacity for better cooling. Tier One includes a high-pressure valve body, billet 4C spring retainer, and performance rebuild kit with new clutch packs and OEM solenoids/line sensors. All gaskets and seals are new, and each unit is air-checked for leaks before shipping.

Testing:

All Stage 1 transmissions are fully inspected and tested. Planetary gear trains are checked for damage, bearings and washers are spec’d, pumps are vacuum-tested, and valve body solenoids are inspected and flat-sanded for improved function. TIG-welded planetary pinions and new Borg Warner clutches are included to ensure reliability under load.
