Refined Shift Points

The refined shift points eliminate the low-RPM “lazy” feel that forces the driver to stab the throttle for a downshift — not cool, and a fuel economy killer! For vehicles equipped with larger turbochargers, PPEI Transmission Tuning is essential to bring the engine back into the proper RPM range to match the torque curve of the new turbo.

Optimized Torque Converter Lockup

Along with improved shift points, PPEI refines the torque converter lockup strategy to deliver power to the ground more efficiently. This improves fuel economy by eliminating unnecessary slip in the torque converter — which also reduces heat in typical “unlocked” conditions.

Increased Line Pressure for Maximum Holding Power

Lastly (and possibly the greatest benefit) is the increase in line pressure PPEI provides. Higher line pressure increases the holding capacity of the transmission by clamping the clutch packs together with more force. This gives tuned and towing trucks the confidence and durability they need to enjoy their setup for years to come.

2024 & 2025 Model Support – Global B TCM Information

HP Tuners now supports Global B TCMs with the following service numbers: 24043414, 24043412, and 24294753. You must use one of these TCMs to tune 2024–2025 models, as factory Global B TCMs remain locked.

Installation Steps for 2024–2025 Trucks:

1. Install an HP Tuners unlocked TCM (with one of the service numbers above).
2. Flash the proper calibration file for your vehicle. (You may need to disconnect and reconnect the batteries to power-cycle the module.)
3. Perform serial data authentication using the MDI dealer tool.
4. Complete an MCVM reset following the proper procedure.
